Ok, so not all the time. But he does in is this promo for MTV's FNMTV. There's also a brief cameo made by Ashlee Simpson.
The Joe Simpson-is-controlling shtick is sorta passé. But whatevs, it's kinda cute...if cute means indulgent.
Also, here's a random pic of Simpson with Miley Cyrus--behind-the-scenes during taping for FNMTV--on August 1.
Even while (what is it?) five months pregnant, Simpson looks tiny next to Cyrus. And no, I'm not implying Miley is fat.
