Apparently these pics of J.Lo, I posted yesterday, are from an August 18 segment of Good Morning America. And, reportedly, far more interesting than any of the triathlon tips, she shared with viewers, was what was going on behind-the-scenes. To wit- J.Lo, 39, expressed dissatisfaction with all of the, irksome, news coverage, dedicated to that what's-his-face, Olympic swimmer, with all the medals. Instead she contended, people should be talking about her.
According to Courtney Hazlett's MSNBC "Scoop" column:
Lopez … was overheard saying after the segment that she "couldn't understand why everyone is talking about that swimmer," according to a GMA source. "She couldn't come up with (eight-time gold-medal winner Michael) Phelps's name, and then she yammered on about how she was the one training for a triathlon just six months after giving birth, and how that was the big story right now, not 'the swimmer.'"
Wait, so does this mean that donating to charity isn't her primary concern? Could she be training mostly for the attention? (Gasp!) Anyasshole, J.Lo will donate all the money she raises for the race to the Children's Hospital of Los Angeles.
And in all seriousness, the Malibu Triathlon is sort of a big deal. Much like, Anaconda, Monster-in-Law and Gigli.
