Farrah Fawcett Was Sleeping While Son and Hubs Were Arrested for Drugs

More like hiding in a closet.

In case you forgot, Ryan O'Neal, 67, and his son Redmond, 23, were arrested for alleged drug possession on Wednesday.

The cops stopped by their house to make sure Redmond was adhering to the terms of his probation (he totally wasn't); and during the routine search they supposedly found narcotics. Meanwhile, Ryan must have been acting funny or something because the po decided to search his room too; and it turned up a vial of, what they believed were, methaphetamines. Father and son were subsequently arrested and taken to jail.

Turns out, while all of that was going on Farrah Fawcett (yes the-e Farrah Fawcett from Man of the House) was sleeping in an upstairs bedroom. That's what a source told Entertainment Tonight, anyway. And it certainly wouldn't surprise me. I mean Fawcett had probably taken enough ludes to knock out a bear.

The same source told ET "The drugs found in Ryan's bedroom were not his," adding he confiscated those drugs from Redmond 2 or 3 months earlier, and was only keeping them away from his son.

Niiice. Honestly though, what's the point of having a kid if you can't use him as a scapegoat?

BTW, Fawcett, 61, is Redmond's mom. And no, her and Ryan aren't "married." But they've been dating off and on for over 25 years, so they might as well be. (Okay fine, hubs just kinda rhymes with drugs.)
